que ocupó un campo de fútbol, el edificio para el nuevo
Colegio Mayor Sant Jordi y las oficinas de la Fundació UB Media
pretende, por una parte, recuperar el perfil de las nuevas contrucciones
residenciales perimetrales y, por otra, mediante un cuerpo bajo y
ligero tanto formalmente como materialmente, mantener la dimensión
mayor del lugar. Las superficies metálicas o acristaladas denotan
las características del equipamiento, distinguiéndolo

"In the location that
used to be a football pitch, the new building for the Sant Jordi Students'
Hall of Residence and the offices for the UB Media Foundation pretend
on the one hand to recover the profile of the recently built perimetric
housing blocks and on the other hand, through a light, low building,
both in its shape and materials, keep the general dimensions of the
site. Metallic and glass surfaces are an indication of the characteristics
of the facility, different from its neighbouring residential buildings."
