The Scandinavian architecture magazine Conditions is devoting its next issue to education, exploring new methodological and pedagogical systems in the field of architecture. Coinciding with this issue, Jorge García de la Cámara, Director of BIArch, recently interviews Josep Lluís Mateo for this magazine in his role as President of the Board of Directors of BIArch, an education institution that was set up to provide Barcelona with a centre of excellence in architecture and architectural research that has an active relation with the university, but totally independent of it. Joana Sá Lima, partner and editor of Conditions, was present during the interview.
